iPhone Apps - The Good and the Bad

My favorite iPhone apps
  • Payback - think Grand Theft Auto
  • BeejiveIM - amazing multi-protocol instant message client with push notifications!
  • Chopper - best shooter game ever
  • Photogene - photo editor, CG tool
  • Pano - amazing panoramic photo stitcher
  • Evernote - snippet tool (syncs with desktop version)
  • Tweetie - my preferred Twitter client
iPhone apps that could use some work
  • Facebook - the interface just doesn't work when you're used to using the desktop version
  • Tweetie - you can only choose to have a portrait or a landscape camera; it doesn't switch when you rotate the screen
  • TweetDeck - the font is too big - I can barely see 3 updates at a time!
  • Urbanspoon - the interface could use a refresh. Why do we still have to hit the Lock icon to select a city or other options?
  • Calendar - in Day view, why do we not have swipe action to swipe between days?

What are your favorite iPhone apps?

Godaddy has a terrible website

Godady.com has quite possibly the worst user interface of any modern day website (even IMDB is more usable). Everytime I visit, I have trouble finding how to do what set out to do. Plus their entire site is freakin slow. I don't get it. Apparently: low prices + hot spokeswomen > slow admin console + terrible UI
