Why there aren't any well-paying jobs in America

From an email chain (no, I don't normally read them). But it's too good to not pass on.

John Smith started the day early, having set his alarm clock

(MADE IN JAPAN)
for 6 am.

While his coffeepot
(MADE IN CHINA)

was percolating, he shaved with his electric razor.
(MADE IN HONG KONG)

He put on a dress shirt,
(MADE IN SRI LANKA)

designer jeans,
(MADE IN SINGAPORE)

and tennis shoes.
(MADE IN KOREA)

After cooking breakfast in his new electric skillet,
(MADE IN INDIA)

he sat down with his calculator
(MADE IN MEXICO)

to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch
(MADE IN TAIWAN)

to the radio
(MADE IN INDIA)

he got in his car,
(MADE IN GERMANY)

filled it with gas,
(from SAUDI ARABIA)

and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his computer,
(MADE IN MALAYSIA)

John decided to relax for a while.

He put on his sandals,
(MADE IN BRAZIL)

poured himself a glass of wine,
(MADE IN FRANCE)

and turned on his TV,
(MADE IN INDONESIA)

and then wondered why he couldn't find a good paying job in AMERICA.

AND NOW HE'S HOPING HE CAN GET HELP FROM A PRESIDENT
MADE IN KENYA.

This is really cute, but the economy didn't get this way overnight. Eight years of dubbya who claimed to be a Texan, but was really from the northeast helped big business pull out of America and then turned around and bailed out GM when they floundered over their decisions.
This is priceless.
Where do I get my Obama-cash? I'm uneducated and unemployed, lacking any skills or even the desire to learn skills. I'm lazy and unmotivated, can't one of you with a job give me your money instead?
Let's not delude ourselves people. The rise of globalism was inevitable and facilitated by both parties for decades. The problem is that our children don't know how much harder and smarter they need to be now, and instead of working harder they feel more entitled than ever. What makes it worse is that we keep rewarding them with unfunded assistance that is going to bankrupt our country, starting with medicare and social security down to countless "earned" income credits to the poor which has led to only 50% of the populous paying income tax. It's the price of success: we outsource away our comparative advantage to feed the nanny state. Shame on us for electing people that keep ballooning our deficit. We're all going to pay the price.
I enjoyed it until the end. Made in Kenya? Really? What a waste of a good joke.
