The magic of Macy's billing department calling me 100 times

Apparently I missed a payment on my Macy's card as a result of Intuit (who processes their online payments) not being able to "verify my identity." But the process of them trying to get a hold of me by phone has been absolutely ridiculous, because they block caller ID and never leave messages.

A while back, I was supposed to do something archaic like make copies of personal information and send to Intuit in the mail. Yeah, right. That never happened. Snail mail? Can't tell you the last time I sent something that way.

Skip forward to this past week. I have been getting calls on my Skype number 8 to 10 times a day from an unknown number that never left a message, and because I leave Skype running at home while I'm gone all day, I find out about the missed calls when I get home. With no callback number and no message, there's nothing I can do.

Just a few minutes ago, my Skype line rang once again, but this time I was in front of my computer. Turns out it was Macy's, trying to tell me that I forgot to pay my bill. Awesome. Thanks, Macy's for not ever LEAVING ME A MESSAGE. If you would have just left a nice little message, I would have taken care of this a week ago.

Lame. At least the Macy's rep was kind enough to reverse the fees once I explained the situation.
